That's what I thought. This wasn't the normal shop keeper. He's basically a dope but I like the shop and lounge area. Also, Smuttynose on tap isn't the usual sign of a hole in the wall cigar bar.

I showed up to this place with my old man for a smoke. Hours posted said 11am open. At 10mins past he wattles up the side walk and let's himself in.

Ok no big deal... But the worst part was he gets us our stogies, gets us all lit up then decides to sprinkle the carpet with carpet cleaner and vacuum. My $9 V series instantly tastes lemony fresh.

If the store opens at 11 then get there at 10:30 and do all that crap before you screw a customers smoke.

Who does that? What an A-hole. I'm glad the B&M of my choice has a wooden floor and they clean it at night after closing.

I had the Cigar International one for a few months. Not bad but for the money you can come up 4 different cigars you know you want to try and buy those for the same price of the club.

Kicking back with a Skull Breaker(NHC) and a cup of coffee to start my day. A little chilly but the cigar is good company. Great construction as to be expected from a My Father's roll and spicy, a PJ blend. Getting some black and white pepper with some leather and coco. Waiting to see how it develops.

Anything Pepin and Pete Johnson team up for has been killer. Have you tried the Tat TAA 2012?

No, I have not seen it yet. So far I've tried the Havana 6, Series P, Cabaiguan, Ambos Mundos and the El Triunfador. I gess you could throw in the Skull Breaker and the Bone Crusher as well. I've enjoyed them all except the Fausto but I don't blame the cigar.

The issue I've had with Cigar of the Month clubs (and for that matter a number of "of the Month" clubs), I get one or two good cigars and the rest are off brands of stuff that has more than likely accumulated in the warehouse. This is a good way to get rid of the excess inventory.

I'm not a fan of, "of the month clubs" for anythng really. Pretty much for the reason wubears says. You get a lot of what you don't want, so you end up paying quite a bit to get what you do want.
