1) apparently you have never had a Bud Lime...
2) I am not always in the mood for a DIPA or Russian Imperial Stout or even just a Mild or ESB. Beers have moods, seasons, times of day, etc. I am not always in the mood for everything.

No favorite here be it brand or style but, I find I do prefer Ales over Lagers. However, I wouldn't call that the rule. I do still like a good Vienna, Bock, Maerzen, or occasional Pils.
