Default Ever accidentally find yourself on Google?

I know most of us have done an internet search for our own names at some point. I've always been pleased with the lack of personal information that appears about me. Fortunately, the same still holds true in terms of personal data, but I just had an interesting experience...

I did a Google search for http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=bench+capper&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq= so that I could find a picture or link to reference in a thread here. The first hit was http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/diy-bench-capper-26795/ - my own thread!

Just for grins, I searched, http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=conical+fermenter&btnG=Search and http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=steam+mashing&btnG=Search. I'm in the top two Google results for both! Unfortunately, a Wikipedia entry is the top result for http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=apfelwein&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=, with EdWort's thread a not so distant second.

Anyway, here's a toast to the resounding success of HomeBrewTalk. Thanks to everyone for making it a great resource for a rewarding hobby. Prost!

Yes, but EdWort's thread here is the only reference in that Wikipedia article.

I just Googled my name, and the first one in the list was a memorial site for me. Damn, can't they wait until I'm dead?

I also found out that I'm a professor, a realtor, and a journalist. I should be raking in the cash, but where is it?

There are at least three other people with my name, which surprised me a little.

They all seem okay so far, but I'm keeping an eye on 'em.

Oh god, I'm all over "the google" since I am a whore for attention. Go ahead, I dare you to search and post on how many hits you get for "Jonathan Passow".
