Default Does this Mean anything to anybody?

I was looking at my whiteboard at in my cube a second ago and thought, this probably looks ridiculous to some one else walking back here not understanding what it is. Thinking I'm dicking off all day doodling with my markers.

Anyone else have anything that makes perfect sense to you and you coworkers, that would look like mindless doodling to someone else?

So, Who knows whats on my White Board?
I swear it's work. Pretty basic, but still work.

Hint:
It could also be written as

01 49 02 03 0D
01 49 06 30 03

01 56 02 30 31 41 42 43 44 45 03 0D
01 56 06 02 03 30 38 36

That should be a pretty large hint.

Bunch of hex codes translated to special ASCII characters for a string of serial data?

whiteboards like that are precisely the reason I switched fields from telecom to energy a few years back. 12 hours+ days in a lab and I just didn't get along-- I need the sun.

Edit to add: what? no deadbeef test codes?

I still don't get it. Just looks to me like you have too much time on your hands.

It's Control characters for a simple Serial string like Rick500 mentioned.
It sends a bit status request (Message Type I) to one of our controllers at work to request ..well the status of 2 output bits we supply to a host. 0 is a decimal representation of the binary output.

Get it Shecky?

And as far as too much time on my hands, that is true too.

This is a nice "cap" one of the guys had to wear over the baseball cap they made him wear in one of the plants. It was a japanese plant. God those people are weird! Can;t just make a Hard Hat with your logo on it!
