crack in a laundry sink

well while installing my laundry sink I cracked the plastic right close to the drain I am thinking on just silicon to seal it up but will stuff like sani brite eat the silicon?

There are much better things than silicon.

I'd roughen and enlarge the surface of the crack then use a 2 part apoxy resin product.

If it's possible, you should try to reinforce the crack from the bottom as well with a plastic or metal patch.

orfy, the crack is not very big do I still need to enlarge it? or can I just epoxy it top and bottom?

I'd at least take an awl and widen the crack. That will roughen the edges and give the epoxy a better grip. If you can find some Capt. Tolley's Creeping Crack Filler (boat shop), it will run down into the crack and fill is top to bottom.

The epoxy will just peel off if it has nothing to get a hold of.
Yes you need to let it get into the crack rather than sitting on it.
It needs a key.

Another option is to drill a few small holes along the crack, including one at the end. This (as Orfy puts it) keys the epoxy into the crack and the hole at the end provides stress relief to prevent the crack from propagating.
