Default The Complete Practical Brewer-1852

Hey,

I just found an interesting book through Google Book Search. It is unlimited in the view and downloadable. Link

The Complete Practical Brewer from 1852! It has some interesting recipes such as:

Dorcester Ale(pg 183)

54 bushels of best pale malt
50 pounds of the best hops
1 pound of ginger, ground
1/4 pound cinnamon

Cleanse 14 barrels

Of course some scaling required. 50lbs of hops!!!
Some of the recipes are listing grains of paradise, which is recently new to me.

I hope to replicate one of these in the future.
