Default Cleveland bound.

Any recommendations on special releases or small brewers from Cleveland? I am headed there for work and want to enjoy some good brews while there. I have had the main beers of Great Lakes and enjoyed those. Thanks for the input.

I recently stopped in a Fatheads North Olmsted, just west of the city, on a trip. Fantastic array of quality brews and amazing sandwiches.

I have been to that area a couple times and have visited lots of good brewpubs.

It is a good beer town.

If nothing else visit Great Lake Brewing...

but like always the best way it to get a currect copy of the brewing news (in this case the Great Lakes Brewing News)

http://www.brewingnews.com/greatlakes/

and the maps... don't forget the maps... http://www.brewingnews.com/webpdfs/GLBN/GLBN_Ohio.pdf

Quite a few spots are good. The brew kettle has brew on premise, so it can be fun to go hang out and have beer while watching folks make beer. The best food in my opinion would be tap house or market garden. Great Lakes and Fatheads that were already mentioned are good options too.

The Tap House
The Beer Engine
Rocky River Brewing
Cornerstone Brewing
Market Garden
The Brew Kettle
