Default Can't brew- stores out of spring water 'cuz of hurricane (whinge)

SOME people think there is an emergency, like all this wind, and cleaned out the stores of spring water. I suppose I could brew with tap water except it smells strongly of chlorine.

If they thought ahead, they could have filled a Rubbermaid bin with tap water - we did - or get a few cases of lite beer - we did not - and leave the spring water to those that really need it.

whinge whinge whinge

'O course, I could have gotten a carboy of Poland spring before the rush, except...

Whether beer is made in waders or in a toilet tank, as long as it is fun and the brewer likes how it tastes, who cares how it is brewed?
