Default Breweries/Beer Tourism in Japan?

I will be in Japan for a little over two weeks, for a few days of business meetings and 11 days of traveling. Main cities will be Tokyo, Tokushima, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Hakone, Kyota, Koyasan, and Osaka.

Anyone have any experience doing anything beer related in Japan? Brewery tours (in english?) great beer bars, etc?

I'd love to see the Hitachino Nest brewery but cannot find anything out about it.

Thanks

The guy in the middle is a high school friend who now lives in Japan, used to work at Otter Creek in Middlebury way back when. Knows his beer.

No idea where this is but I'd go see these guys since they won 3 or 4 WBC medals this year.

great link. bookmarked!

Here's another useful link even though the article is a few years old and some of the places he talks about are no longer around. http://www.ratebeer.com/Story.asp?StoryID=686

You should also google ji-biru which is the japanese term for craft beer (or more precisely, regional beer).
