Default Beer Soap

A buddy of mine saw something about someone who made soap out of spent grains. Said it's very similar to oatmeal soap, which people buy up at craft fairs for like $4 a bar.

Any ideas on how to get a good side biz running to pay for my ingredients? :P

Human fat can be rendered down with grain to make very good soap.
Do you have any cosmetic clinics in your area?

Melt glycol and add some fragrance and rinsed grains.
Reform into bars.

Or go to a bar.

It's another case of misnomer marketing ploy...it's not "beer" soap because there was never any yeast in it...it's just spent-grain soap at best.

Maybe a skin cream could be doable? I work on a burns ward, we get through loads of oat based creams and gels. Something called oat beta-glucan is apparently awesome for the skin. Wikipedia recons beta-glucans are in some yeasts too. Seems like we should be rolling around in whatever we dont drink.
