Hey guys, SWMBO's folks got this as a gift. They don't drink so they are sending it to me. Anyone know what this is? Google has been less than helpful. . .

Don't laugh and you may have already gotten this far - Adolf Weisenbach and the address listed is for a German winery. Not sure what to make of what type of wine, though - it's a pretty light red so wonder if it's a sweeter red style? Pop it and tell us. :D

it should be here tomorrow. I'll let you know. I saw the 30% alchohol and figured wine was out. . . seems stiff for wine but I'm more of a beer guy do what do i know.

So far I've come up with "klostertropfen" may mean "drop of the monestary" which could easily be wine.

I just don't think it will be bad. . .that much i know. My first guess was brandy.

One second on google netted me that it is an herbal liqueur, think Jaegermeister. "Krauter Spirit" means Herbal Liqueur.
