To this thread I must be true
And post a riddle while I brew
There once was a girl from Nantucket
Her flatualance would displace the air in a 5 gallon bucket
That has nothing do do with this riddle
I'm stalling as usual and playing my old fiddle

When the Hanging Gardens of Babel grew,
I read the heavens for what it knew
to gesture a thing that can't be seen,
with rigid arm and hand so keen.

I have a marked and telling face,
and never rush - I keep my pace.
I'm shy of clouds and the dead of night,
otherwise faced true North I'm always right.

Now given gears I never sleep,
and two more arms are mine to keep.
Sixty to one they each will race,
but twice a day they all embrace.

Well, I shouldn't be up so late
But not sleeping is often my fate
As the owls go hoo and the cradle does rock

Okay, I'm officially banning the word "fiddle" and any related words (fiddles, fiddling, fiddler). It's used way too much here.

First off, thanks for the nice words!!

But my riddles or not worthy for sure
There are some who post late at night
And they keep making this thread out of sight

So for now my new friend
Lets let others bring a big grin.

Ps.. there is one thing for sure. right now I have no riddle that will endure
and my rhyming and timing sucks.. It usually does

Don't worry about it my cuz.
