3 switches: a, b and c.
Assuming that the light is off:
Turn a on
wait 10 minutes
Turn a off and b on.
Open the door.
If the light is on, switch b controls.
If light is off, either switch a or c.
Feel bulb.
Hot bulb means switch a. Cold means switch c.

If the bulb was on when you started.:
light off means B controls.
light on means either A or C
If it is C, the bulb was not off for long and should feel very hot.
If it is A, the bulb was off for 10 minutes and should feel cool.

I don't know how to solve it if we don't know the initial state of the bulb.

I suppose I should have changed the facts to give a peek
inside the door before sealing it up to begin to seek
