I have a friend maybe you know
He's hurting now, but it won't show
He spends his days on the lands
To count his brothers you'd need both hands
He slips into a cover
Then he slips into another
When your car dies and will not shift
You'll call for help and accept his lift
If its quiet and you are alone
You can hear him crying all the way home.

Dan, you haven't completed the "feat"
Take the pressure off the answer and have a seat.

Hmm. I first responded to this
With a bit of assuredness
But if I answer again will probably miss
So I'll sit back and let my beer go flat
Doesn't matter I'm about to retire.

I must say this riddle was neat

With this hint I'm sure the answer is found on my feet.

Even so I don't definitely know

But my guess has to be my pinky toe.

Toe is right!
I think I broke one tonight
I'll be more creative next time
But the pain controls this rhyme

I am dangerous at tables of both spheres and angles, And of chips and rectangles.

Many have come across me and been permanently mangled.

Dangerous at a table, and always deadly in a fable

Tell me my name if your imagination is able.
