Default ambitious brews

by Maureen Ogle

got this as a gift. it's a decent history book about the german immigrants to the u.s. that started up the big three... it also includes a history of prohibition and then the start up of the microbrew revival of the seventies/eighties..

i'm not too far into it, but her history lessons are good/accurate, and she writes well, with some interesting insights.

check it out at the library if you like history.
