Default $16,000 whisky?

Someone has a lot more disretionary income than me...

The maker of Glenfiddich has unveiled a 50-year aged whisky that will sell for $16,000.

Second most expensive whisky in the world? I'll pass. Why do I get the feeling they just found this barrel in an abandoned warehouse and thought "hey we should sell it anyways"

Hey, I'm 27. If I would buy a barrel of whiskey right now I could make a killing late retirement.

Spending 16,000 bucks on Whiskey rather than beer? Some people are just asking to be mugged

You wanna see a real travesty? Check out this article that the $16000 whiskey article links to:

Will you drink beer in a box? - Top Stocks Blog - MSN Money

This douche says, and I quote:

Now, with beer, the box might be less objectionable since, in my opinion, the quality issue is not really in play. Despite what the microbrewers will tell you, all beer is pretty much the same. Consumers who pay a premium do so more for the experience than the taste.
WTF!!!!
