Need beer destinations in LA
 

Hi. John and I (with the munchkin and boy) are headed to LA January 17-21. We are in need of suggestions for places to get great beer and food. I'll be working like a slave for most of the week but i know John is going to be up for some beer.

Anyone have suggestions?

If you are going to LA and looking for good beer you may want to travel a little south down to San Diego. Stone, Ballast Point, Lost Abbey, Port, Alpine, Green Flash, Karl Strauss, S.D. Brewing Company, ect...

It is only a little under a 2 hour drive and it is on one highway. Also a great way to see the coast.
