Default Downtown San Diego beer spots?

I'm gonna be in San Diego this weekend for a conference. I'm staying downtown, and won't have a car or time enough to go very far (Sadly). Anyone care to name a couple of good spots to grab a good beer in the downtown area? Thanks in advance.

Eh, Stone Brewery is actually in Escondido, which is a fair drive north, especially from downtown.

I was in San Diego for a day and made my mom, sister, and nephew (he was about 9 months at the time) go there. Didn't really care where we went after that (and a couple pints).

I think the San Diego area is pretty well mapped:

The Yard House is right downtown at 4th and Broadway and they have 130 taps. the only breweries downtown are Rock Bottom and Karl Strauss.

As olllllo mentioned earlier, O'Briens Pub is amazing. Also check out the Live Wire and the Liar's Club

If you manage to take a trip over the bridge to Coronado, check out The Coronado Brewing Co.

best place to drink downtown is Downtown Johnny Brown's

There's also a place called "the local"

I don't know addresses, but they're actually down town.

A Little late for you but, Hamilton's in South park is a great beer bar, if you come back Thats where it's at!

Coronado Brewery is fun, you can take the ferry across the bay and walk there about 1/4 a mile.
