One of the brew pubs has their 7Cs APA on tap and it's amazing. I think I should try to make it sometime! In case you were wondering the 7Cs refers to all 7 'C' hops.

The New Old Lompoc Brewery in Portland does the same thing with their Double IPA. It's called C-Note. Brewed with all hops beginning with the letter C. They also make a slightly different version for the holidays, darker and a bit hoppier called C-Son's Greetings.

Not going to list them all, but the newest beers at my bar:

Anchor Christmas
Real Ale Shade Grown Coffee Porter
Unibroue Maudite
Young's Double Chocolate Stout
Young's Winter Warmer

Hopefully we'll be getting a couple Live Oak beers, which come out of Austin, TX, soon.

Well... a person can work up a mean, mean thirst after a hard day of nothing much at all.

This kind of an area is the best place for survival because you do have good, basically intelligent, hard working, decent people and they're all armed to the teeth... and that's my kind of people.

I hope your passing on your way to work and STOPPING on your way home. This Sounds like Monk's Cafe. I have never been but my wife travels extensively with work and gets to Philadelphia quite often. I live vicariously through her.

Mackinaw Brewing Company:

Grand Traverse Golden, Peninsula Pale Ale, Red 8 Ale, Beadle's Best Bitter, Harvest Moon Oatmeal Stout, "The Bridge" Nut Brown Ale, Belgian Whitecap and one of their seasonals is a Barleywine served in a snifter.

Northpeak Brewing Company:

Shirleys Stout, Steelhead Red, Mission Point Porter, Pale Ale, couple others which I forget their names at the moment (normally get the darker beers here). Their seasonals right now are a engine Honey Brown, Christmas Beer and a Munich Helles.

I need to make another stop at both here sometime soon, they usually change their 7th and 8th taps every 3-4 weeks.

does no one live in a city with a flying saucer?

The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium - www.beerknurd.com
I won't even begin to list, they have around 250 beers, about half and half tap and bottles.

Most locations are in texas, but a couple headed north east.. AR, TN, NC, SC and MO to be exact..

Here is houston list
The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium - www.beerknurd.com

Their paper menu is by style, which helps in ordering.

of course they are cycling different brews all the time.
