Although the delivery is 12/7 no one has to pick up on that date. As soon as possible is OK, preferably before Saturday. They open at 2pm and tend to stay open until 11pm or later.
Please everyone remember - Defiant and it's employees know nothing about who gets what, what was ordered, who took what, etc. They are only allowing us to get the delivery made to their establishment and to be stored until we all pick up. I will do my best while accepting the delivery to replace the sacks according to who ordered what however as people pick things up, the pallet will probably get messed up. If you need to search through, please replace the sacks on the pallet in a neat fashion.
If you are splitting a sack, please remember to bring a scale and vessels/bags to take your portion.
I'd like this to go down as smoothly as possible, and I would appreciate it if the Defiant staff are treated with respect. There were some issues during the last buy.
Also, if at all possible, bring some homebrew in for Neill, the owner, or at the very least, buy some beer from them to show some appreciation for them allowing us to use their facility. I believe the kitchen opens at 5:30pm on Fridays and 3pm on Saturdays. They also have hand cut cheeses and meats during the week.
