Default Metro Milwaukee Area Group Grain Buy

So I stopped by cookiebagg's shop today to pick up some buckets (THANKS FOR THE HOPS TOO MAN!!!!) And we were discussing a group grain buy. He has a dock so we could have it shipped up from Illinois for $85. Looking at the Price sheet for 2010 I am seriously considering a major purchase.

Anyone else interested? PM Me if you are.

JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS - I AM NOT MESSING WITH SHIPPING GRAINS - IF YOU CAN'T DRIVE TO MILWAUKEE TO PICK UP GRAINS DON'T ASK ME TO SHIP. SORRY!

I don't need anything right now- but in the future, I'd love to do a group grain buy. I just bought another 50# sack, so I'm all set for at least three months.

Just got Bernie and his friend 8 bags. I've still got about 60lb so I'm good unless you buy in some specialty grain.

Jeff, can you post the link to the price sheet you're looking at?

I've been hopping that someone would do a bulk buy in Wisconsin. I'd be down for a few bags, and possibly splitting some specialties.

I'm good for the time being but would be interested in the future.

This link gives you the public pricing

http://www.countrymaltgroup.com/pdf/2008_HomeBrewCatalog.pdf

Keep in mind if over 1000# of grain are ordered the price goes down by almost half on most types of grain.

I just reloaded on base malts but would be interested in the future. We should try to keep this same thread open and bump it each time.

I would be interested in specialty grains or hops if that develops. I have a vaccuum sealer for splitting bags of hops.
