Dammit! You collect magnetic bottle openers! I bought a bottle opener just for you for my next purchase, but it's not magnetic. Oh well, you are getting it anyway.

A question for everyone...what do you use to store grains? Do you use the orange Homer buckets? There does not seem to be any definitive answer on their food safe-ness, and I would never ferment in one, but is there a danger in storing grains in it?

Homer's are HDPE 2 which is the same material milk, water and juice come in. You should be fine storing grain in them. I do and have never noticed any difference in taste or smell. You need 2 per 50 lb sack. You can also use pet food containers or buy fancy lids for the Homer's, etc. depending on your budget and level of paranoia

Homer bucket and gamma seal lid (http://freckleface.com/shopsite_sc/s...roduct509.html). They work great and two holds one bag of grain.
I actually have probably 4 or 5 I can spare from my last purchase if anyone is interested. Mine are green.

What hops should I grow? Hop grower's comparison table

Drinking: a belgian pale ale, a belgian imperial stout, an Epic 09.09.09 clone, a brett'ed saison
Carbing: a hop-bursted APA, a citra farmhouse
Fermenting: an abbey ale (to be soured)
Aging: an oud bruin, a BDSA/Dubbel thingy, a soured fruit saison, my "wild oats" brett/sour, a saison with a brett mix added at bottling.
Up next: TBD, probably not brewing again until july.

Repost- I'm new to this thread. I'd like like to get in on the next buy. One sack of CMC Superior Pilsen and one of Fawcett Golden Promise?

I have never done a group buy,but am in.
