Default smoked corned beef

We have a little tradition in my house that we have smoked corned beef Reuben sandwiches on St. Paddy's. We had to put it off a day this year but it was still just as good. Washed it down with a 2011 Schafly reserve Bourbon barrel aged imperial stout.

Isn't a smoked corned beef basically pastrami?

That Schafly 2011 is a great beer. Did a vertical of 2011-2008 recently, and the 2011 was easily my favorite.

smoked corned beef is beef bacon
smoked and peppered is pastrami
