I have used one that looks just like that they work pretty good. With constant use though the seal breaks or something goes wrong not sure, but you get air inside the sausage.

If you don't have a sausage stuffer simply make fatties.

I've not used that type. On recommendation from another brewer on this site, I bought a LEM vertical canister stuffer. http://www.lemproducts.com/product/496/Vertical_Stuffers
That one may work fine, and for the price it may be worth the gamble. I'm quite pleased with the performance of the LEM. I wish I'd have opted for the 10# model.

Very nice. Metal gears and tubes instead of plastic. I'm sure my kids will be using it long after I've gone tango uniform.
If you want a cheap stuffer, those work fine. Mine is about 20 years old, and I'm still using it.
