I'll take a look at the dryer as well tonight to see if the rating is listed. I don't have a clamp on amp meter otherwise that would work well.

I don't either, but now I am thinking I should. Sears has a nice one for under 40 bucks. It would come in handy while building and testing the brewery. One more expense! Where does it end?

So from my calculations the most I would be pulling with this setup would be 25Amps with the 5500W element at full power and the PID and SSR. This would not allow me to have both the 4500W and 5500W element on at the same time if ever needed. I do not know what type of demand the PID and SSR would have. Anyone know what they typically pull? I figured an amp for both combined which seems like a high estimate to me.

At 25A and a 20% safety margin this would mean I need a breaker of at least 30amps. To go with a 50A or 60A spa panel should be ok from my view with individual circuit protection for each load in the control box.

I'll have to see what the amp draw is for the various electronics in my house to see if this is feasible on what I assume is a 60A service panel. I'll post back on this later tonight.
