Default For those bring 220/240 only into an Auber PID - question

I am only bringing 220/240 into my panel because I am just controlling a single element. I use 10-gauge THHN for the SSR and connectors, but what I'm trying to figure out now is what gauge I need to go into the Auber with both hot legs on terminals 9 and 10. I was planning to keep using the same THHN but I'm realizing now this is problematic due to the small stud size on the Auber.

So what is tested and works? Thanks.

Bring your 220/240 into a terminal block, then use a smaller gauge wire from the block to the PID. I used 16 gauge stranded to a spade connector and it works just fine.

22 AWG will work as well.
