Is this the control panel out of a hot tub that you guys are using? I see hot tubs in my area fairly regularly for free due to broken pumps, "been sitting a long time," etc. Could I just go grab one of those to use for an electric keggle?

No. It isn't the panel that controls the jets.
It is an electrical supply panel that is wired into your house. Think of the cord that feeds the hot tub. Follow it back to the house, and that's where you'd find one of these. I'm mobile, but I'll try to find a link.

Yes as said above, the spa panel is part of the homes wiring...someone getting rid of a tub will not likely want you to take the spa panel.

You can find them at Home Depot or Lowes for $50-$70.
