Default Question about spa panel dryer hookup

I'm starting from the ground up and I am a little confused on how to get my power going in my basement. I'm going to have to share my 30A dryer receptacle. If I understand correctly I can wire a 4 wire dryer plug to a 50A spa panel that I can then just plug into the receptacle and then be GFCI protected this correct?

Then my control panel for my BIAB and pump setup would be about 20 feet or so from the spa panel. Would I just run 10/3 from the spa panel with a male plug on the end that would then plug into the control panel supplying power?

Hope that is not to confusing and thanks ahead time for any help.

That'll work. Since the wire from your breaker panel to the spa panel is only rated to 30A, don't exceed that (even though your spa panel has a 50A breaker). You should mark the spa panel 30A just to be complete.
