Default Electric Burner

I brew in 2.5 gallon batches. How many watts electric burner (not element) do I need to boil 3 gallons of water/wort? I don't mind waiting 1 hour to start boil, but just need a definite boil.

I think you could pull that off with 1800 watts. It might take longer than an hour to get boiling but I think 1800 watts would boil that much.
