Electric Brewstand

How many of you built your own stand?
I was thinking of ordering this: Here
They make them big enough to fit 3 keggles and I can't imagine being able to beat their economies of scale building my own or hiring a welder.

I don't yet have one I like- I have one made out of metal shelving. But when I do buy one, I'm going to get one of these:

He makes them for about $300 or so, without the burners for an electric brewery. I can't decide if I want a two-tier, or to add a pump and use a single tier.

I built mine out of wood. It still needs casters and it will be ready to do a test run.

What were the costs to build with wood? What were were your dimensions?

I have a basic stand built out of wood. It is in my signature.
At this point I am devoting more time to controls and some other projects than aesthetics of the brewstand. I do appreciate a well designed and good looking stand, though.

I'll be doing wood. I don't see the need for the extra cost of metal when using electric. I've been collecting 4x4's from work and2x4's from pallets from work so cost will be minimum

Psst... just between you and me... When most folks talk about "taking their rig for a test run", they don't really "run" with them. You could probably try brewing on it without the wheels  |
