Default DIN-A-MITE Heat Controllers

Someone was just showing me these tonight. Has anyone here ever used them? Din mounting sounds sweet. They handle 1 and 3 phase and have them rated up to massive amounts of current.

According to description it's just a fancy SSR with embedded heatsink. Nice, but too expensive.

Is the Din-a-mite the Omron ssr's? I have chromalox scr's and a crydom ssr all with the integral heatsink and they are a much more industrial relay than the ones normally seen around here. Keep your eye out on ebay and they can be had for a good price and will give you more reliable service than some of the cheapies.

This would work for most homebrewers: http://www.watlow.com/products/contr...controller.cfm

They would probably outlive many homebrewer's other equipment. Just something a little different from the made in china cheapie SSRs that get passed around most of the time.
