Default close proximity and gases given off?

Hello all,

I'm new to the kombucha scene and I'm currently having a terrible late winter. The best room that stays warm is my own bedroom as I always have the heater on.

With the heat comes the prospect of a good fermentation. The issue is, what gases are given off by the reactions undertaken by the bacteria, fungus and yeasts? As I'll be in close proximity.
