Chestnut Chip suppliers
 

Anyone have a nice list of places to get Chestnuts or Roasted Chestnuts for brewing.

Doing a Google search only found two suppliers and was wondering if someone here has a location they order from.

Seems like cost is about $30 for 5# ready to brew with.

Looking at trying a Nut Brown Ale and looks like an expensive brew unless I find a better cost.

www.chestnutgrowersinc.com and www.chestnuttrails.com are the two I'm aware of. I'm guessing that those were the two you pulled up?
(I got a few from CGI, since they're in my area) I found out that Jolly Pumpkin does too.

ive done a few batches with those. i got bag of medium and a bag of dark. they put out damn good beers.
