Default Yeast still good?

I picked up a package of champaign yeast for a gallon batch of cider I made as an experiment. The cider turned out great and I want to make a bigger batch and I am trying to do so without going to the lhbs. I opened the dry yeast pack like 8 weeks ago and put the rest of the yeast In the package folded up and in a seal zip lock in a cool closet. Think this yeast will still be viable?

Some of it will be, but probably not much. Ideally you want to use any opened dry packets within a week.
