Default Yeast rehydration question.

How important is the 15 minutes suggested rehydration time on my yeast packet? I brought a cup of water to 90 degrees and mixed in my yeast only i didnt let it sit for 15 minutes because I am an impatient son of a bitch. It is nottingham ale yeast, by the way.

You're fine. Many people just sprinkle it in with great results. As long as the pack is newer RDWDAHB
