Default yeast propagation

Does anyone know if an ultrasonic cleaning machine could be used instead of a magnetic stir plate? I have an ultrasonic and need to increase my yeast cell count for my 10 gallon batches. thanks

I don't really know..... But I read it in a medicine article, here is the link: http://www.ndt.net/article/apcndt2006/papers/76.pdf
Basically the ultrasonic waves stimulate the growth and production of yeast cells. It also says that you can kill the yeast. Curious if anyone knows more. Thanks
