So i brewed my first 10 gal batch sunday. a porter brewed with white labs Bedford British WLP 006 stepped up on starters to about 500ml of yeast cake. It came out to 1.070 but that was a little High for me so i added another gallon of pre-boiled water. It is now barley bubbling so i took another reading. 1.020. that was the fastest I've ever had. I still want it to come down more around 1.013-.14. has anyone else had similar experiences with this yeast. With this being my first 10 gal batch is this normal.
