I have a small meat freezer that's not in use right now, and I'd like to start dabbling in pilsners and lagers. I'll be getting a Johnson controller in the mail soon, and I want to dedicate this freezer as a lagering vessel.
It's very strange though: it has two compartments measuring 18x19x12 deep on the top compartment and 18x11x8 deep on the bottom. That doesn't really give me any standard options for fermenting in carboys or jugs. Do any of y'all have any unconventional fermentation vessels that might fit those dimensions?
I think I recall someone using pet food storage containers that have an airtight seal to ferment with, but again I don't know of many that would fit in my set up.
TIA for any help!
