Default A tale of two lagers? Lager question

So my neighbor is away for 6 weeks so he agreed to let me use his extra fridge while he is gone to do a couple lagers. So I didn't plan it out very well and last week I made a 10 gallon batch of munich helles (used WLP830 German Lager, stated range is 50-55F) and I set that in the fridge at 47F and ramped it up to 50F a few days later and that's going well. I made a california common last night and was planning on lagering it in the same fridge but then I realized the wyeast california lager 2112, which is what I pitched a starter of when I finished that batch, has a range of 58-68F. Will it still work at 50 even though it's below the range? Anyone have experience with 2112?

Thanks in advance...

Ive used the WLP810 San Fran Lager (which I believe is the same strain) @ 50°F for a Helles (6L starter for 10gal); it wont have the same ester profile (much more restrained than @ 60°F), and will take forever (mine took nearly a month for 1.050->1.008, but I also had lots of Carapils). That has been my experience.
