Ok, stupid question... What is the appropriate ratio for DME to water for a yeast starter?
I do 100g DME per liter, so 1g per 10ml

100 grams of DME to 1 liter of water. So it's 10 to 1 ratio. I believe this will create a starter with an OG of 1.040.
I might be wrong on the OG ?
I use 100 grams DME to one liter of water, and think that ratio might have come from mrmalty.com.
