Default Saflager at ale temps?

Has anyone ever tried this on a cider? Just wondering how it might turn out.

Not on a cider; I used it for a Calfornia Common, turned out great.

I've heard of people who have done exactly as djt17 has and liked it, but I haven't tried it myself.

I'm willing to invest in an experiment then. Could be a disaster, but at the total expense of under $15 I can handle the loss.
