Default Reusing pickle jars for saving yeast. Bad idea?

I've got a bunch of mason jars that have been used to pickle radishes... I want to reuse them to hold washed yeast. If I sanitize them in starsan and boil them will this kill any beasties that might contaminate my yeast, or should I just get new mason jars for the yeast?

Sure. I'd definitely boil the crap out of them and scrub them out really good with a rag though.

Agreed, but I'd get new lids.
