Default Question about Golden Ale and Tripel

I have a tripel and golden. The tripel has been fermenting for about six weeks. The golden for 2.5 They are both 0.002 shy of what the local home brew kit suggested for FG. They seem to have stalled. Is it OK to bottle?

Golden is currently 1.017 and is suggested to be 1.015
The tripel is 1.022 and is suggested to be 1.020.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

As long as they're steady, they're good to go. Maybe grab another sample in a couple days, if it's the same then bottle it up. FG and attenuation are dependent on lots of things, so it's tough to predict it exactly. Also, your hydrometer could be a tiny bit off, sometimes they read 1.002 in plain water!

The trippel is probably done. 1.015/1.017 is high for a trippel, but if that is where the recipe says it should end, then you are there.

It is too early to say for the Golden strong. I find most Belgian yeasts take a while to get to FG, and usually shave off a few more points between weeks 2 and 4. The extra time will help in clear more before going in the bottle anyway.
