Default Pitched Yeast in Cold Cider

Hey guys, i just put together my first batch of Hard Cider, however when i pitched my yeast which was room temperature, the cider i pitched it in was cold about 40 degrees. Im worried that i shocked the yeast. Should i wait to see what happens or toss it and just start a new batch??

It should be fine. Once it warms up to room temperature, it should get going.

Cider likes to ferment slow, anyway. It helps to preserve the apple flavor.
