Default My Beer is has gone crazy in the Fermentor!!!

Finished my second batch of all grain (a very hoppy I.P.A.). 10 hours laters it started going crazy. At one point the beer shot out the airlock. I changed the airlock out and its back to normal. I had used dry yeast and yeast nutrient. Is there any explanation for this? Do i need a blow off hose?

the explanation is just that you had a vigorous fermentation. blow-offs are not uncommon at all. i would definitely consider a blow off hose, it's bound to happen a few more times over the course of the next day or two. otherwise, you need to keep a close eye on it.

Explanation is a healthy fermentation. Yes use a blowoff hose, is it in a carboy or bucket?
