IIRC… yeast comes partially from another word meaning boil…

NICE!!! His beer is singing to them...

I second the blow-off tube suggestion... If it's been like that for a couple of days, then chances are, you just need to clean the airlock and ride it out...

The movement inside the carboy is like something from another world... I love it... I've seen that in a couple of my brews, but I usually leave them alone during that stage (don't want the beer to bite my hands off)...
