Why a second yeast?
If the SG is higher than expected, pitching more yeast into a too-cold fermenter will just result in a lot more stunned yeast sitting in the bottom wondering wtf hit them.
Take the SG reading, adjust for temperature (off the top of my head, subtract a point) and if it's too high get that puppy warmed up so the existing yeast can get back to work...
Cheers!
