Default Looking for a clean, floculating ale yeast!

Hi

Is there a yeast that combines the cleanliness of the American cal ale strain with the flocculation of the British strains?

Regards, Der Braumeister

I haven't tried it myself but I heard Wyeast 1764 (pacman) is pretty good.

I like WLP007, if you ferment it around 65-66 it's pretty clean and it drops out fast and clear.

The anchor ale strain fits the bill. Wl051 or wy1272 iirc.

But if it is like its Wyeast equivalent 1056 then none-to-floculent.

Exactly. Im looking for a yeast that is as floculent as the S04 and as clean and versatile as US05/001/1056....

Thanks for all your answers btw!

That is, of course, impossible. 001 is clean because it is powdery. You have to compromise a little bit.
