how long for fermentation - pale ale

im brewing an alpha king pale ale clone and plan on just using a primary fermentation. how long should i keep it in there and how long should i let it condition in the bottle???

Four weeks in the primary, three weeks in the bottle at 70°. This time frame pretty much works for most mid-range beers.

cool. how do you know how long certain styles should stay in primary-2ndary-bottles ect. e.g. imperial stout, stout, porter, imperial porter, dubbel, tripple.

Yep. The bigger the beer the longer to age. Conversely, tiny little beers may be ready to bottle in a couple weeks. Carbonation is pretty much the same.
