I forget where it came from (Brewing Network, BYO or the like), but putting your fermenter in a trash can, putting a tshirt over it, filling with water up 2/3 up the side of the carboy, then putting a box fan on top blowing in works damn well. Basically a swamp cooler. It's a dirty fix but works. Just make sure there is space along the sides of the fan for air to escape.
